Now that I’ve switched to UK time,I have bag loads of energy with me everyday. That has translated into a pretty fast lifestyle and I’m definitely loving it. It’s the last day of January 2016 today – gotta say, I’ve made a decent start to my city life enjoyment goals. I gotta manage my hours smarter (e.g. keep movies for nights), meet new girls, go out for parties/clubbing/nightlife, get back to being a metrosexual, etc. And then, the lifestyle I’ve wanted ever since I was 17 could be within my reach.
- FHM Malaysia – I bought the final issue of FHM Malaysia (it ran from 1998 – 2016) and it brings to an end my first ‘lad mag’ series (I bought my first FHM in 2013). I’ve yet to browse the copy but I have a coveted poster of Venice Min! The issue features over 130 gorgeous girls so I’m certain the delayed gratification is gonna pay off. But Venice Min though, she’s really a looker. I love her insta pic where she’s donning a leather jacket, a (black?) panty & a choker accessory.
- Ola Bola – Now this was one epic Malaysian movie experience. It is based on the era when Malaysian football was at our finest. Back then, we were right up there with the best of Asia – yeap, Japan, South Korea, we were more than a match for then. Malaysia qualified for the 1980 Moscow Olympics, but due to the boycott over USSR’s invasion of Afghanistan, didn’t get to take that vital step to Olympic-level football. In the intervening years, we have slid to the backwater whilst the aforementioned sides made the grade to the World Cup. Ah well, Malaysia has quite some catching-up to do, but it felt good to relive the times when we were one of the best Asian football teams.
- Personal finance – Okay, I’ll admit, I never was a big fan of this (traders are a lot more exciting) but it’s time to get my financial foundations in place. I activated my own personal credit card so that’s quite a bit of a milestone. I now have to look into my unit trusts, medical insurance, income tax computations, etc. And it has to start with my documents filed in order!
- Dinner with a local historian – We went out for Indian dinner with a historian who has conducted research and published materials about the Chulia community in Penang. But mostly throughout the course of the dinner, I was defending my pro-UK stand against my sister’s apparent anti-UK leanings. I’m sure it made for great observation but I think I should stop being nosy in my sister’s affairs.
- Kissing Kylie in ‘Kids’ – Before going to bed, I saw the clip of Robbie Williams kissing Kylie Minogue in the swimming pool (the ending of the ‘Kids’ video). Imagine this: Kylie Minogue in her 30s, naked, in a swimming pool, you get to put your arm around her, and apply a French kiss on her lips (maybe include some tongue action). I wish I had that opportunity to kiss Kylie like how Robbie did. He is one lucky boy.
Okay, I’ll leave it at that for now. Here’s to a more enjoyment-fueled and pleasure-filled February 2016.
PS: Plenty of Chinese girls & Kylie Minogue as always!
