I’m blogging during the 30-min break between Uruguay vs Paraguay (1-1) and Argentina vs Jamaica which will be coming up shortly. During the earlier match, I saw a rat scurrying about the dining hall. We’ve currently got a rodent problem at hand. Yesterday night, we spent a good 1.5 hours trying to force the rat to get out through the back door (we were successful). Problem is, it’s now back inside and I’ve gotta prevent it from moving to other parts of the house. This is slowly turning out to be an irritating hassle and the messiness of our house doesn’t help matters. I’m beginning to wonder at what point should we call the exterminator.
I watched Minions yesterday and it was a whole load of fun. There was a British theme to the movie, the minions do speak in Italian at times, and there was a Malaysian cameo with the ‘terima kasih’. To me, the minions rock but not so to my cousin: he thinks they look like peanuts and dickheads. 😛 Oh well, when I graduate, I’d really like to have a minion ‘soft-toy’ inside the flower bouquet (A cute girl friend had something like that on her graduation). Btw, the Minion Rush game app I was playing last year, that was quite fun. And at Midvalley, they have this ‘minion exhibit’ at one of the vast ‘court areas’, so I’m thinking of taking insta pics with these yellow guys.
Okay, the Argentinian anthem is going on now (it’s Messi’s 100th cap), so I gotta wrap this up pronto. Btw, I did this IUCN ‘which-is-your-animal’-type quiz and I got huemul (South Andean deer). It is part of Chile’s National Coat of Arms so that’s a nice trivia to go with Copa America.
Ciao ciao!
