Hello everybody,
17 days have passed since my last post. I reckon the excitement is starting to wear out. That’s all for an introduction. Actually, sod the need for literary structure. This is a pressure-free blog, so I better stick to the fluidness.
I went to a surprise birthday party a couple of days back and I enjoyed chatting with my friend’s sisters (that’s my highlight). They looked pretty in their dresses and I got the chance to talk with them alone. I discussed banking & finance with the elder sister (she’s always elegant in my eyes) and romantic comedy with the younger one (she’s always fashionable). I really like the relationship I have with them and hey, talking to beautiful girls is quite the perk!
My current read is ‘Adultery’ by Paulo Coelho. I’ve read all his books and among the notable ones are The Alchemist, Eleven Minutes, & Aleph. I’m not sure if I have a favourite author anymore but the Brazilian is definitely around there. Key themes of this book include Swiss politics, sadness, affairs, marriage life. Like all of Paulo Coelho’s books, this is turning out to be a good read.
I’ve also started on these 2 things – ‘A History of the World’ (book) & ‘Animal Behaviour’ (Coursera MOOC). I have to say, when you discover about the universe (and theoretical physics, if it doesn’t boggle you), you feel nice and in awe. The same thing applies to pre-historic life & zoology (animals are always fascinating). But when it comes to world history, you can’t help but notice the stupidity of homo sapiens sapiens. And unfortunately, that thickness has continued up til now, because collectively, our shortcomings far outweigh our progress. I don’t want to open Pandora’s box so I’ll stop at there.
Before I go, a special shout-out to my ‘girlfriend’ who looks absolutely gorgeous in her spaghetti top ‘bathing suit’. She sits on my lap looking like that, and I’ll be stroking her arms & thighs and caressing her neck & shoulders in no time.
