Kylie Minogue is the hottest woman in the world. If I have to go to Australia to see her perform, I’ll do that. Kylie Minogue in her 30s is my best ever sex partner. And it was via her Pepsi commercial I first understood that lust & love can go together. Not to mention her Agent Provocateur advert where she rides on the mechanical bull in lingerie (that’s the hottest ad of all time!). Anyway, I got to know from Kylie’s instagram that ‘Spinning Around’ turns 15 today. The music video for the song is best remembered for THAT gold hot pants (and her bum was declared a National Treasure). For the record, I love Kylie Minogue’s bum – they’re absolutely gorgeous. And I love how she gyrates in the video clip – hot hot hot!
Yesterday, I watched Jurassic World at the cinema. I’ve had a deep fascination for dinosaurs since I was a kid, and I even did a Coursera MOOC titled ‘Dino 101: Dinosaur Paleobiology’ two years back, so I definitely enjoyed the movie. Btw, I am reminded of the BBC documentary series ‘Walking with Dinosaurs’ so yeah, I have a strong interest in paleontology. I have a book (Title: Prehistoric Life) which I’ve yet to commence reading so that’s something to look forward to in the near future.
Okay, 2 brief mentions from my readings in world history: (1) It helps to have a timeline when you’re discovering about the evolution of early humans. Mitochondrial Eve, Homo Erectus, Neanderthals, Homo sapiens, it can get all jumbled up if you don’t have a timeline to hook on to. (2) The people of Catalhoyuk lived in an egalitarian society with no class divisions, rulers, priests, etc. They lived peacefully in a state of anarchy. Believe me, that will NEVER happen in our age and times so yeah, hats off to our ancestors for this wonderful feat of humanity.
I’ll conclude with Farah Ann, a Malaysian gymnast who’s a gold medalist in the 2015 SEA Games which is being held in Singapore. She’s just won a gold medal for the country, and what do certain religious groups do? Criticise her for exposing her aurat (parts of the body required to be clothed in Islam) when performing her gymnastics moves/routines. My take on it is simple: an individual’s decisions/choices pertaining religion is between God and the individual. In this sense, I agree with MP Khairy Jamaluddin (PS: I do feel his looks are overrated). As for Farah Ann, congratulations on your achievement in gymnastics! You go girl! 🙂
